Gingerbread house

Gingerbread houses are just one of the many enjoyable crafty activities associated with Christmas.  If you are lame, you can buy one of the many gingerbread house "kits" on the market and skip straight to the assembly/deocorating part.   Otherwise, you can have lots of fun making a custom gingerbread house in any size and shape you want.

We chose to make a gingerbread church instead of the traditional cottage.  



Here I am carving out stained glass windows from a piece of unbaked gingerbread dough:
