Closet curtain

This is a great alternative to a traditional closet door. It's especially ideal for tiny rooms, like my bedroom, where an actual door can be awkward to open and close. To maintain some level of visual continuity on that wall, I chose an ivory fabric that matches the paint. This super-easy project only takes about 30 minutes to do.

How to:
(1) Get a piece of fabric. It should be as long as the height of the door space and twice as wide.

(2) Hem the two long sides and one short side of the fabric.

(3) Sew a 1 1/2" sleeve on one of the short sides.

(4) Get a pressure-mounted curtain rod (also called a spring tension rod). You can buy these at Lowe's, Home Depot, etc. for under $5. Adjust it to fit the inside of your closet door frame.

(5) Thread the rod through the curtain sleeve and hang.
